I tried bonding an old 49mm ring to the series VI ring of my 50mm Summicron.  It works 
but I got slight vignetting at corners.  May be OK if you can find a very thin ring 
(smash glass from an old UV).  Should be ok with the 90mm. I used epoxy glue.  It can be 
removed later.
