There are two photographs of the 90mm f/1.0 Elcan, as built for the US
Navy, in Jim Lager's book "Leica - An Illustrated History Volume II" on
pages 231 and 232. This is a massive lens weighing about 4.5 lbs. I
didn't find any reference to how many were made.

There was a 90mm f/1.0 Leitz Canada lens sold at the Tamarkin
Photographica auction earlier this month. This lens was a fixed-focus
design made for the Picker X-Ray company. It is supposed to be similar
in optical design to the US Navy lens, though physically it looks quite
different. It sold for $4500.
