I take THE NATURAL IMAGE also, and while what you say re: George's objectivity in this publication is true, he is not w/o his bias. His bias is, however, reasonably controlled in this publication. It must be remembered that Geo. is sponsored, in his many seminars, by Canon and Kodak and therefore you'll seldom see a real disparaging comment on their products. What he *can* do and does, is to give good words to the occassional Sigma product or others with which he has little vested interest. Who do you think financed his trip to Antarctica a while back? Canon, Kodak, Domke and perhaps others. He's a good guy, though, and tries hard to be as objective as possible. It's as good a rag as you'll see considering that there *are* commercial interests involved, even if indirectly. - -- Roger Beamon, Naturalist & Photographer Docent: Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum Leica Historical Society Of America INTERNET: beamon@primenet.com
