I'm sorry. Guess I should have elaborated. First of all it is ALL heresay,
since the work they did for me was excellent the first time around and the
camera has not given me ANY problems since.

Also, possibly the horror stories I have heard about may be more design
deficiencies than incompetence from recent discussions in this group. The
complaints I heard about revolved mainly around metering or rangefinder
repairs done in NJ on the Leicaflexes and M4s through M6 bodies. Several
users from my old area who had these cameras were required to return them
several times to NJ for reworking. One X user had an R4 which evertime he
had it repaired he could anticipate its (re)demise with weeks. In
frustration he actually gave it a burial (body only) in the Gulf of Mexico
one day when he was doing a shoot.

Possibly, others in the group could shed some light on there experiences
with Leica NJ. As I said, I was happy with their work.
