Hello Michael,

I've also been at the Photokina, and handled the R8 for a few minutes. Check out the 
switch under the shutterspeed-dial, it's used to change metering patterns. To me it 
looked a bit frail, it certainly didn't look as sturdy as the switch on the previous 
R-camera's.
