Subject: Leica IIIf slow shutter speed questions

Hello all,

I've got a IIIf rd (658671) which I think has a problem, all normal
speeds work fine , but when I try to use a slow (1/25 - 1sec) speed it
appears to just fire at 1/25th. I'm sure it did work properly when I
bought it 2 months ago. I read the manual on the sequence of winding
on, setting the top dial and then setting the front dial , all I get is
1/25th. T also does not work , but B does via the top dial. At no time
is there an escapement type noise.

My questions...
1. Am I doing anything stupid.
2. Is there any simple checks I can make
3. Can it be fixed
4. Where (I'm in th UK)

Thanks all.
