I think that your conclusion is quite a streach, at least I hope so. ( I also find the language objectionable) What do you mean by "appreciate?" Not particuarly "appreciating," "liking," or "desiring" (take your pick) some object, here a camera, in my book has absolutely nothing to do with my regard for the people who made it!
