One way is not allowing postings from non-subscribers.
I doubt these guys subscribe to every list they spam into.
A one day delay after subscribing, before postings are allowed is 
another one. The real spammers have faxnumbers in the message, and 
are unplugged the moment their provider finds out about the spamming. 
Mostly only a few hours later.
One day delay of posting rights could make use of that.
