It's rather "wobbly" and when pulled out |gives the camera that phallic-extension look of one of those long-zoom |point-and-shoot cameras. I wasn't aware the current 50/2 had a built-in hood. Thanks. I have a general question on secondhand M6s, which is, can one get a s/h M6 in exc or exc+ condition? I've been reading the back pages of AP for about a year now and nearly every s/h M6 is near-mint or mint. The s/h prices range from STG 1500 to STG 1800, which is a little out of my price bracket. As a result, I'm now considering an M4 (or M4-2), which are reasonably common in well-used condition. So. What's the availability of well-used M6s in the US?
