A statement was just made on this forum that the 65mm/3.5 Elmar lens is even
better than the 100mm APO-Macro from Leica. I find this very interesting.

Can anyone comment on this. Also, is there a substantial difference in
performance between the first and second versions of the 65mm Elmar?

Any experiences on this matter would be appreciated.

That said, how do you couple the 65mm Elmar to Bellows R?
