"Campy" stuff is indeed the Leica of bicycle parts and all of their components and lubricants are the finest available. Hard to relate a bike to a Leica but some of these grease lubricants they use have been researched to death and perform under the most extreme conditions. A lot of the Campagnolo parts are high quality aluminum alloys for light weight and, as we all know, aluminum ain't the hardest metal on Earth. A lot of it is anodized but still can have it's own set of problems in actual use, especially if it's some sort of a bearing surface. This particular grease sounds as if it might be a molybdenum sulfide type lubricant which actually "bonds" to any metal it comes in contact with to from a great barrier to sticking; primarily used to keep metals from "galling" together. It's worth a try on almost anything. Like any lubricant or grease, it should be applied carefully to only the surfaces concerned; wipe any excess off. The "moly" stuff can sit on the metal surfaces overnight and wiped off the next day. Regular greases - lithium types - are pretty pale compared to the M2S varieties. Get it at the most expensive bike shop in your town. Normally in small tubes of a few CC's and probably around 5 bucks but it works where most other "normal" greases won't.
