Dear Friends:

For all those who would rather have an M4 than an M6, I thought I'd let you
know that I've got an M4 should anyone seriously consider such a trade. I
just got mine back from Leica Northvale by FedEx this morning (along with a
$300 bill) from a complete overhaul...have not even run a roll of film
through it! (Remember Leica guarantees their work for 1 year - parts &
labor). I got this as part of a deal with some lenses. It had a 35
Summicron 8 element in absolutely mint condition hanging off the end. All I
wanted to buy was this lens but the guy wouldn't break up the set. BTW I
love this lens!

So, the camera, ser# 1175438 is in exc+ to exc++ condition (and I'm more
conservative than most folks I know) - it's a beautiful piece and
functioning like brand new. There's nothing else to say about it. I have
an M4-P already and am a user not a collector, so I will, if no one else
would rather have an M4 than an M6, press this camera into service as a
street camera.

Curt
