No, I wouldn't think so. They pretty much dissovled their relationship,  
from what I've heard. This one has been rumored for years to be a Leica  
design. 

BTW, the 24 R isn't exactly a minolta lens, they made most of the parts  
and the glass, but Leica assembled it and QC'd it.
