Well, IIIg prices are quite high, and the cameras are now all but
unavailable. These prices have been fairly stable for the past seven or
eight years. Check out Shutterbug:

Brooklyn Camera has one for $2250, another for $2295, and two more at $2345,
all graded as mint- (and Arnie Duren is quite fair in his grading)

Tamarkin has one at $2295 and another at $1995, both E++, and Stan also is
an honest grader

Woodmere has a "9+" at $1849 and a "9 to 9+" at $1625

Chatterton has a mint- at $1595

These are just examples. The big collector drive on IIIg's has probably
peaked, at the IIIf rdst is the hot item at the nonce.

Of course, a dealer would pay you 60% of these prices: I'd guess the
wholesale value of a really clean (E=/M-) IIIg would be at lest $1000, and
of a good user (E) at least $700. If you have the original box ("FB", or
factory box), case ("ERC", or ever-ready case), and instruction book ("IB")
and warranty card, then the price goes up by quite a bit.

Hope this helps!
