I have sent Mr.(?) Redfern a copy of a review of this lens which
was published in the April 95 issue of the British magazine Photon and is
available on-line at:

http://www.photonpub.co.uk/photon

To find the article, go to the contents page of their current edition and
select the "backlot" option: this will take you the list of previous
issues and you can just select the April 95 issue.

The URL for the article is :

http://www.scotborders.co.uk/photon/april95/russar.html

It is worth viewing the article with Netscape or something like it: they
have publised some pictures taken with the lens.

If anyone want to read the article and can't get onto the Web, I will
send them a copy. Alternatively, I could send it out to the list members.

Hope this helps
