Yes, Leica makes a rubber eyecup -- but you have to get this in a
round-about way.  If you buy the adaptor for the diopters, then you can buy
a rubber eyecup to mount on this.  These are:

diopter adaptor p/n 042-253-008-004, US price approx $45
eyecup p/n 008-027-200-060, US price approx $25

On another note, I wear glass (made by Corning, by the way) glasses and
would have nothing else:  I have terminally scratched every pair of plastic
lenses I have ever owned within minutes of obtaining them.  I have
absolutely no difficulty using either a IIIc or an M6, but I do very little
35mm work and virtually nothing at 28mm -- wide-angles I find boring, as I
want the expressions in peoples faces and all the gory details.  Just my
style, but I have no problem with the Leica VF.
