I have the same question. I found the asking prices of used Leica stuff
advertized or on some photo fleet markets to be at least twice as much as
the Hove´s International Price Guide or the MacKeown´s guide. I have been
trying to buy a BD IIIf as a pocketable P&S. The Price Guide says a mint one
is $225, and since I only need a good user grade, I should therefore expect
to pay about $115 according to the table in the Price Guide. The lowest
price I could find was $270.
