The grips are not made by Leica. The grip attaches to the tripod socket on the baseplate and provides a centered tripod socket, as well as a small hand grip that runs along the front right (shutter speed) side of the camera. I would like to know some user opinions of the practicality and value of these grips. I am considering using them on my 2 M4-P's with the 35, 50 and 135 f2.8 lenses. Thanks Antony Soicher<< Bought mine at Del's in Santa Barbara. Del's ads are in Shutter Bug. I like mine and wouldn't think of going without it. I have only used it with a 35mm lens. william -- Sent from Designlink, San Francisco. Design, Graphics, Photo, Portfolios Online. Modem: (510) 933-9676; (510) 845-4187; (415) 241-9927.
