The retractability is nice but it costs as much as a summicron if not more. I believe there are still plenty of 50 f2.8 made in 60s and 70s on the market and the prices are around $300 for very clean samples. I can't comment on the image quality but I believe nothing beats a Summicron. ------------------------------------- G.
