There is a Leica Historical Society of America, which holds annual meetings
in October. But I believe the majority of the members are collectors and
traders (buy low and sell high for living) rather than photographers or
serious users. They are advertizing for memberships in the last few issues
of Shutterbug magazine. They have a publication called Viewfinder, which
does have a few interesting/informative articles from time to time.
