Today, a bit after Nora's 3rd birthday, it all worked out. Fr Aaron Kennedy baptised her in St Mary Battersea, in the diocese of Southwark. It is the same church in which my grandfather Sydney Reid was baptised in 1887. Battersea is on the Thames in southwest London. St Mary is a 10 minute walk along the river from my daughter's flat. There has been a church building on that site for a thousand years; the current structure dates to the late 18th century. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/bkreid/family/L1020139.jpg.html From reid at mejac.carlsbad.ca.us Sat Jul 16 18:18:28 2022 From: reid at mejac.carlsbad.ca.us (Brian Reid) Date: Sat, 16 Jul 2022 11:18:28 -0700 Subject: [Leica] Back in to the fold In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: <2a6438bf7eb278d9d669e5544fc46dcd@mejac.carlsbad.ca.us> Good to see you back. > May I ask a question? The LUG was created for the purpose of asking questions and discussing the answers. The ability to send pictures to each other was a fairly late development. Afterwards we went to sit in the churchyard to talk and enjoy the cool river air. My daughter Vanessa (Nora's mother) sat with me on a bench and got this picture of us with her new iPhone 13. I like this picture, so I decided to post it here. You can see my Q2 in my hands. It was indispensable inside the church. Bill Clough said this is the first time he's ever seen me wearing a tie. Now that I'm retired and living in a place where men don't wear ties to church, I don't wear them very often. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/bkreid/family/IMG_1793.jpg.html From reid at mejac.carlsbad.ca.us Sun Jul 24 20:48:21 2022 From: reid at mejac.carlsbad.ca.us (Brian Reid) Date: Sun, 24 Jul 2022 13:48:21 -0700 Subject: [Leica] Bunch more TTA and 7A Pix up 21mm M Mono 35 color M10P In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: On 2022-07-24 13:05, Mark Kronquist via LUG wrote: > IG kronquistm Huh?
