Last February I had the privilege of waiting in line on a blustery winter morning. I was using my Canon 50mm 0.95 and really enjoyed the way it painted the scene. The first one I just caught her as the wind picked up: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Monday+Misc/Wind+Blast+in+winter+cold.jpg.html Another layer and the teeth still chattered: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Monday+Misc/not+enough+layers.jpg.html Looking the other way I found my friend sitting on the ground being stoic: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Monday+Misc/Keeping+Warm.jpg.html Taking two steps closer you can see that the lens designer had designed a correction for "portrait" distance: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Monday+Misc/demonstration+of+close+range+correction.jpg.html All the best. -- Don don.dory at gmail.com
