The first image is from last year but the buds on the current trees indicate this will also be a good year: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/Last+spring+the+cherry+trees+were+ecstatic.jpg.html There is a Mexican Plum tree that is very prolific in all years that drops it's fruit on the sidewalk making walking almost impossible for a period of time. The blossoms are most welcome as it is among the earliest bloomers: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/Mexican+Plum+on+the+sidewalk.jpg.html My neighbors trees seemed to bud and begin leafing out as I watched: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/My+neighbors+tree+thinks+it+is+spring.jpg.html All the best. -- Don don.dory at gmail.com
