I put together a little Flickr album of shots from our local cattle
drive.? Each winter, the Eaton ranch takes cattle from one grazing area
to another up the highway through the Yakima River Canyon.? They shut
the road down and drive them on horseback. There is a campground about
half way that they often stop at if it is not too icy so the cattle can
rest and get a drink from the river.? It was cool but not icy or snowy.?
This year the drive was a bit different.? Usually it is for their
pregnant cows that they are moving to a pasture close to their ranch so
they can be there to help the birthing.? But this year it was mixed
rodeo stock. So, here is the album if you are so inclined to look.

Comments welcome.
