Over the next weeks you will see a lot of sunflowers as they are in full bloom and the birds have spread them everywhere. So first we have one pointed down even though there is plenty of water: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/heliotrope+looking+down.jpg.html As a youngish person I loved to watch the really bad Sci-Fi movies; this sunflower bud reminded me of some of the monsters gaping mouths: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/sunflower+bud+as+predator.jpg.html The next two are my continued study of Sago Palms as their new fronds open up: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/Sago+frond+arch+closer.jpg.html http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/Sago+frond+arch.jpg.html This will also start a series of images taken with "bad" lenses. This is a probably a Nikkor 50 1.2 on 50mm of extension tube: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/funky+lens+study.jpg.html All the best. -- Don don.dory at gmail.com
