Subject: [Leica] Friday Flowers - Aram

While camping south of Fresno there were a few adjacent fields full of 
this yellow flower. It was quite unusual.? I thought it was probably an 
invasive species but found out later it is native to the central 
California valley and is called Common Spikeweed (Centromadia pungens).? 
Have a look.

And as an added bonus, there were many ladybird beetle pupae on it and 
some were hatch.
