The top of the hill has a clump of trees that are known locally as "The Ploughman and his Team". These days it doesn't look much like it. The clump which has been there since at least the 18th century and was long used as an aid to navigation on the River Severn which is about five miles in a straight line. <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/PeterDzwig/20221201_105522-01.jpeg.html> There's actually snow in this one: <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/PeterDzwig/MayhillinSnow_1_20221212_115512-01-ed1.jpeg.html> For a few days it was very misty near the top of the hill (279m) producing some moody effects: <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/PeterDzwig/MayHillTreesMist_20221212_121801-01_ed1.jpeg.html> <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/PeterDzwig/MayhillLowerSlopesSnow20221212_120359-01.jpeg.html> <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/PeterDzwig/20221212_115257.jpg.html> Thanks for looking and as ever your C&Cs are much appreciated.
