He was interested in diabetes but I told him it would look the same as normal blood (I think).? I do not have any stains at home, but I did say I had some blood for a ways back when it was not deemed a hazard to do so.? So, in about 1979 there was an outbreak of mononucleosis in our small town (Odessa, WA).? Even the CDC got involved.? One of my fellow teachers was diagnosed, so I stabbed his finger and made a few smears.? I still have one so I took a few shots with my new scope.? These are 1000x Oil Immersion.? A few of what I think are monocytes (Vipul can possibly confirm or deny).? Both are 2 or 3 image stacks.? View large if you can. Main subject looks about the same but I sure had a bunch more artifacts to touch up.
