I had acquired several Georgia O'Keefe art books and was inspired by many of her watercolors. So, I took a break from using modern glass and went to a Canon 0.95 mostly on an extension tube. The results were interesting. The first image is an intentionally defocused image to emphasis the swirly backgrounds: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/0_95_.jpg.html A tangle of leaves: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/tangle+at+0_95.jpg.html The lens can be adequately sharp if you catch the focus point: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/Salvia+at+0_95.jpg.html http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/Sage+at+0_95.jpg.html http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/Plumeria+at+0_95.jpg.html Or it can isolate a subject: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/crepe+myrtle+at+0_95.jpg.html All the best. -- Don don.dory at gmail.com
