Greetings to all.  Another week collecting botany around Austin.  At the
retention pond the cattails are pretty beat up:

There is a growing wine industry in the hill country but this grapevine is
just annoying:

The Beautyberry bush is a native and quite resilient to drought.  The
flowers are discrete:

This vine didn't get enough water this summer:
