Last Sunday we were up in Colorado: we stopped by the Great Sand Dunes National Park not expecting much after White Sands. We start with a view of the visitors center: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Monday+Misc/Dunes+as+seen+from+the+visitors+center.jpg.html Turning around from the visitors center we saw the dunes: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Monday+Misc/spectacular+cloud.jpg.html This view is near the visitor center parking lot: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Monday+Misc/singleton.jpg.html Actually down among the dunes after a water crossing: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Monday+Misc/people+dunes+and+mountains.jpg.html About half the dunes: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Monday+Misc/Pano+and+people+for+scale.jpg.html Across the river but almost to the water looking over a vegetated dune: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Monday+Misc/clouds+and+shadows.jpg.html Looking roughly north: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Monday+Misc/bracketed+dunes+and+clouds.jpg.html All the best. -- Don don.dory at gmail.com
