To start with, another perspective on a Crested Serpent Eagle devouring its prey (the same scene as the previous frame), which really shows how moving our position, just a few metres one way or the other, while photographing, drastically changes the impact and atmosphere of the shot: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Kanha/Kanha-20220427-099-2-Edit.jpg.html Next is a photo of, IMHO, the true core species of the Kanha landscape, and a species that was rescued from the very brink of extinction, a success story for conservation in India, the Barasingha (literally "Twelve Tined Horn''). This is a young male with horns that are not full size as yet: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Kanha/Kanha-20220427-099-2-Edit.jpg.html A Dhole, or Indian Wild Dog, carrying away a portion of a Chital kill: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Kanha/Kanha-20220425-202-Edit.jpg.html A typical bandhavgarh vista: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Kanha/Bandhavgarh-20220421-013-Edit.jpg.html Tiger cubs at Bandhavgarh: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Kanha/Bandhavgarh-20220421-062-Edit+copy.jpg.html http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Kanha/Bandhavgarh-20220422-367-Edit.jpg.html http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Kanha/Bandhavgarh-20220422-430-Edit.jpg.html A huge male: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Kanha/Kanha-20220426-674-Edit.jpg.html I finish with two photographs of a male taken very late into the evening after sunset at ISO12800, which led to an impressionistic, painterly effect without the use of any dedicated painting action, or software: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Kanha/Kanha-20220425-1710-Edit.jpg.html http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/jayanand/Kanha/Kanha-20220425-346-Edit.jpg.html Please see Large.
