Chris,
Not one of Kevin Roche's best. He was Irish and knew my uncle - another 
architect - quite well. Roche worked with Michael Scott who in turn 
lived beside my uncle who in turn designed the house we lived in for my 
father. He would though, wouldn't he.
On your photo, I prefer the second one.
