The trees there have a tough life, thin soil, fires, and a lot of wind: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/hard+life.jpg.html Junipers are a very persistent tree that grow despite most people's efforts to eliminate them: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/four+junipers+at+St_+Edwards.jpg.html Must be seafaring with a list: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/leaning+juniper+St_+Edwards.jpg.html Another early morning shot with the sun just coming in through holes in the canopy: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/oak+leaves+catching+the+morning+sun.jpg.html Everyone must also like crepe myrtle trunks as they are planted in a lot of places: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/four+crepe+myrtles.jpg.html The plantings around Lady Bird Lake make the city far more enjoyable.
