I took a lot of images of the new foliage. Looking up and admiring the bright green in the canopy: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/verticle+spring+crown+new+leaves.jpg.html The determination to twist limbs to capture any light that falls always amazes me: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/twisting+to+the+light.jpg.html OK, no snarking from the gallery. I had fun when I saw this pole in bondage: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/bondage.jpg.html This is a moving body of water, the light from the trees reflected tinted it green: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/three+on+a+field+of+green.jpg.html The red oaks in part of the world were hit very hard by our freeze. Not an oak but an encouraging start to spring. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/new+leaves+for+old.jpg.html An oak was cut down but the juniper is doing just fine: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/replacement+is+doing+fine.jpg.html All the best. -- Don don.dory at gmail.com -- Don don.dory at gmail.com
