We start with me on my stomach photographing blooming things when this hungry bee demanded I make way for her: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/worn+bee+on+dandelion.jpg.html The freeze we had affected many of central Texas plants badly. The botanists recommend that we be patient and prune away obviously dead limbs. This neighbor used a rather extreme method but it did make an interesting graphic: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/briar+patch+at+1_8.jpg.html Moving back down the block to the corner rental house there was a crop of bluebells blooming: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/bluebells+corner+rental+yard.jpg.html Moving a bit closer to the wiley bluebonnets: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/bluebells+closer+corner+rental.jpg.html Another interesting graphic brought to us by a frozen agave: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/frozen+agave.jpg.html This cactus was frozen then blown down, also an interesting graphic: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/cactus+blown+down.jpg.html All the best. -- Don don.dory at gmail.com -- Don don.dory at gmail.com
