However we start with a hardy volunteer growing in a drain. This drain is on a bridge so the soil is rather meager: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/what+grows+in+the+drain.jpg.html This volunteer is perhaps a bit early considering they are forecasting temperatures below O degrees C: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/early+volunteer.jpg.html Vines have no loyalty: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/vines+have+no+loyalty.jpg.html It must be nesting season with all the stray bits of feather floating in the wind, or maybe just the cats: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/feather+caught+in+the+vine.jpg.html Another vine hitching a ride up: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/diversity+gets+you+to+the+top.jpg.html Last we have a downed length of bamboo dividing things evenly: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/bamboo+dividing+line.jpg.html All the best: -- Don don.dory at gmail.com -- Don don.dory at gmail.com
