Yesterday, I went for a walk with my wife from our house to the West
Pier of Dun Laoghaire Harbour. It's about 2/3rds of a mile away, and
then the pier extends a further seawards to its light house. A pleasant
walk as always, but I forgot to bring my camera to the delight of my
wife, so my old phone pics will have to do. Here's a pair taken from the
pier. By the way, the harbour was the idea of Capt. William Bligh of the
Bounty fame. He first surveyed Dublin Bay and its navigation problems.

Harbour at Dun Laoghaire Harbour. iPhone 5S. Can be seen LARGER if desired.
