It is left wild so many things come and go. We start with a backlit spear point with wet feet: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/sper+poinnt+in+the+sun.jpg.html These are pretty late in the season for this zone: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/late+in+the+season.jpg.html I found this an interesting complex texture: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/texture+with+grass+seedheads.jpg.html I want to say ragweed fully opened: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/seed+heads+blowing+away.jpg.html There is a good size bed of cattails in the pond and they are fertile this year: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/cattail+exploding.jpg.html Last, a blade of Johnson grass in the afternoon light.
