The water is very close and give a more intimate experience. It is Middle North Falls. Here are a few shots from there: View large, please http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Aram/20f/Middle+North+Falls+Silver+Falls+Sp-1000724.jpg.html http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Aram/20f/Middle+North+Falls+Silver+Falls+Sp-5920.jpg.html Imagine spring with maybe 10 times the water flow. Then there is North Falls. Probably the least intimate as the undercut is maybe 100 feet back under the falls. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Aram/20f/North+Falls+Silver+Falls+Sp-1000749.jpg.html http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Aram/20f/North+Falls+Silver+Falls+Sp-1000740.jpg.html http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Aram/20f/North+Falls+Silver+Falls+Sp-1000743.jpg.html Up some stairs to get out of the canyon. These and many of the trails were built by the CCC in the 30?s and 40?s. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Aram/20f/North+Falls+Silver+Falls+Sp-1000757.jpg.html Then the last falls along the trial is Upper North Falls. OK, so I guess they are not too creative with the names. And Silver Falls State Park has no waterfall called Silver Falls. That is the river?s name. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Aram/20f/Upper+North+Falls+Silver+Falls+Sp-1000761.jpg.html Hope you enjoyed the series. A great place to visit and only about 25 miles from Salam, OR. Comments welcome. Aram
