We have had some early September rains which caused a lot of plant life to explode into reproduction. We start with these blossoms which appeared just two days after the rain: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/Brought+to+you+by+summer+rain.jpg.html Then there is nut grass which is always ready to grow in almost any area with a bit of soil: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/nutgrass+line.jpg.html Just an overhead view: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/September+rains.jpg.html Last for today I was amused by this eager shrub growing behind the post box: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/Post.jpg.html All the best. -- Don don.dory at gmail.com -- Don don.dory at gmail.com
