We start at a retention pond adjacent to the Lady Bird Lake park. This pond slows water coming off a convention center but is highly valued by by children feeding ducks: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/red+at+the+retention+pond.jpg.html This ivy was doing a good job hijacking a coax cable up towards the light. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/Ivy+on+Coax.jpg.html This vine was dropping down from a tree looking for new soil to root in: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/vines+going+down.jpg.html Last, these next two are from some fungi that decided that growing under my oak tree was a good place to prosper. Typically they are up by 5:00am and gone by 10:00am. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/fungi+under+the+oak.jpg.html http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/fungi+playing+twister.jpg.html All the best. -- Don don.dory at gmail.com -- Don don.dory at gmail.com
