The first image is of some succulents growing in a palm tree: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/invasion+of+the+palm+tree.jpg.html These fungi sprung up one morning under my oak tree, they only lasted a few hours and then gone: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/fungi+in+the+oak+leaves.jpg.html and: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/fungi+forest.jpg.html Also in my yard a sunflower decided to grow in a front flower bed. I decided to let it grow to feed the birds: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/volunteer+.jpg.html These are growing in a vacant commercial lot, I think the birds will eat well in a few weeks: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/sunflower+field.jpg.html It pays to look around a bit. After I photographed the field of sunflowers I turned around and saw this grass growing in a plastic tube protecting a guy wire for a power pole. This is about 2 meters up in the air: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Wednesday+Weeds/volunteer+grass.jpg.html Be well, and stay safe. -- Don don.dory at gmail.com -- Don don.dory at gmail.com
