I have a friend who went to a Canon printer because of that and all she does is complain that the quality is not as good as the Epson. Now she can go back and both of us can be happy. Most of my stuff is b&w, and for the last few years I've been using Epson Exhibition Fiber and Epson OEM inks. The factory paper profile for the Epson 600/800 paper is really good, much better than my deceased 3880. And of course now there is the Epson P700/900 available in June.
