The city itself It is in a bay there as a small cape called Cabo Huertas just north of the city (and south of where I live) but it cannot really be called a peninsula. I live in the town just north of Alicante, El Campello (population around 20,000)?it is basically a suburb of Alicante but a separate municipality.
