This first image is of a century + oak tree that was preserved in the middle of a very large mixed use development. To the architects credit they made good use of the required root protection zone: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/courtyard+oak.jpg.html This is one of a large number of cypress trees planted around a convention center, probably not the smartest move in a semi-arid region a large distance from water. However, the sun in the new needles was quite nice: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/courtyard+oak.jpg.html Last, the interesting bits of a willow reflected in the water: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/willow+in+the+ripples.jpg.html For our Spanish friends smile at the children that can legally go out in the sun at least for a bit. -- Don don.dory at gmail.com -- Don don.dory at gmail.com
