I didn't want the series to end.  I'll check out the link, but it was nice
seeing them with a group.

That last item is depressing.  In a similar vein, in 1970, when I was
leaving the UWM POST student newspaper at
graduation (with my negatives), I noticed that at least one of my
predecessors had left his negatives, in six-frame
strips, loose in a box in the darkroom.  I took them home and later
realized they were records of a lot of
Vietnam protests, including draft card burnings, marches, and even some
pictures of the big rally at the 1968
Democratic convention in Chicago.  I tried to contact the photographer, but
he never responded, so I organized them
as best I could and made contact sheets.  I still have them, but don't know
any details on most dates and locations.
