If you weren?t in a hurry, a pleasant part of the journey was to get off the train at the Shimbashi station and take the trolly that ran to Roppongi near the Stars and Stripes office. In 1966, the fare was 5 yen. At that time, the exchange rate was 360 yen to the dollar.
