   In downtown Tokyo there is an oasis of beauty surrounded by the teeming,
metropolitan city. Imperial Park is so named because it is on the east side
of the moat surrounding the official residence of the emperor of Japan.


   On foggy and low-overcast days, the abundant moisture seems to muffle
the continual noise of the city.
