Subject: [Leica] Reviewing RAW data rapidly

I?d like to thank Frank for his recommendation of FastRawViewer which is
really quite amazing at its job.

It?s also a great test of multi-core CPUs and GPU. I skimmed through a set
of >3,000 Fuji X-T3 images by holding down the right arrow key. Looking at
the CPU and GPU usage I saw that I was using all 12 cores just about equally
at 50% capacity and the GPU (AMD Radeon Pro Vega II 32 GB graphics) at about
25%. I was running off the very fast internal SSD.

Stopping, adding a rating, and continuing was very straightforward. Ratings,
etc are writing to side-car files.

This will be an incredibly useful tool for looking at large batches of
images before pulling them into either Lightroom or Capture One. I?m going
to buy it.

Thanks to the LUG for replies both here and direct to me. Greatly
appreciated.

I don?t post often but I lurk.

Best regards,
